Hampton by Hilton enters India’s mid-market hotel segment with a transformational growth strategy global hospitality giant Hilton has launched its Hampton by Hilton brand in India by signing its first five properties with partner NILE Hospitality, marking a strategic entry into the fast-growing mid-market hotel segment. The new hotels, located in Amritsar (two properties), Vrindavan, Raipur and Lonavala, will together offer over 350 rooms and are expected to open within the next two years. Hilton and NILE plan a broader expansion, targeting up to 75 Hampton hotels across tier-II, III and IV cities over the next decade to tap rising domestic travel demand and growing middle-class tourism. The India-specific strategy includes locally tailored design, enhanced meeting spaces and food-and-beverage offerings, aiming to deliver consistent global standards while catering to Indian guest preferences and closing the branded mid-scale accommodation gap.
