Israel aims to recover Indian tourists arrivals to about 69,000 by 2027

  • by
Israel’s tourism authorities are targeting a return to pre-COVID Indian visitor levels, with a goal of attracting approximately 69,000 tourists from India by 2027. The plan comes as the country works to rebuild its inbound tourism market following pandemic-related declines and disruptions from regional conflicts. To support this recovery, Israel is restoring direct flight connections with India, enhancing promotional campaigns focused initially on major Indian cities, and expanding travel outreach to include Tier II and III markets. Efforts also include improvements to the e-visa system to make travel easier for Indian families and leisure travellers.
