Bangladesh has temporarily suspended most visa and consular services for Indian citizens at key diplomatic missions in India, including the High Commission in New Delhi and Deputy High Commissions in Kolkata and Agartala. This move comes amidst escalating security concerns and growing diplomatic tensions between the two neighbours.
The suspension includes tourist and several other visa categories, though in some missions business and work visas may still be processed, and visa services continue at other posts like Mumbai and Chennai.
